What to Expect When You Attend
The competition at the Desert International Horse Park is always thrilling and fierce, featuring a full range of disciplines with every visit. When you attend, you can expect to see everything from hunter/jumper to dressage at its very best. In a typical year, eight weeks are dedicated to FEI competition and 12 weeks to premier hunters in addition to the traditional 14 weeks of competition. There are also four weeks of dressage competitions to look forward to of which three showcase CDI-rated action.

The Desert International Horse Park is located at 85-555 Airport Boulevard in Thermal, California, and season stalls can begin to be reserved starting in August each year. The venue is open Wednesday through Sunday and hosts the National Sunshine Series in early November, the Desert Holiday Circuit in late November and early December, with the Desert Circuit running from January through March. The primary entrance to the venue is the stabling gate, which is open for all major events and monitored by on-site staff. Once you park, you’ll receive a wristband for the event and a visitor’s guide as well.
