Just a short drive from Los Angeles, Legacy Villas La Quinta has become a great escape from busy city life. Having stayed there for music festivals in the past, I decided to look into staying during a different time of year as well. The desert is such a great place to get away to, there are plenty of activities should you desire, but mostly it is an amazingly relaxing place to come lay by a pool and recharge as you take in the breathtaking mountain views.
A block down from La Quinta Resort, Legacy Villas provides so much compared to many La Quinta rentals. What stands out to me is that Legacy Villas have fully functional condos that come with a full kitchen, barbecue, and washer and dryer. Nothing better than stocking up at a nearby grocery store and hanging out with friends on the patio while barbecuing all sorts of tasty food, not having to worry about trekking out or deciding on a restaurant. From the patio it’s a short walk to one of many pools, whether you want a smaller, more private one or the large and beautiful main pool. In the evening hanging out in the condos is great with plenty of common living space to play games and access to TVs with all streaming services.
Should you want to head out and explore the area, these La Quinta vacation rentals are close to many great restaurants and activities. I loved walking over to Old Town La Quinta and escaping the heat while grabbing a beer at La Quinta Brewing and pizza at Stuft Pizza. After you’ve digested your food you can rent bikes and bike to nearby hiking trails to get some exercise and climb the mountains for even more beautiful views. To get out in the evening, I love to go to one of the many wonderful Mexican restaurants a short drive away followed by a movie at Century La Quinta. When I can pull myself away from the resort for even more time, exploring the art galleries in nearby city Palm Springs is a way to spend a great afternoon.
In all, I was happy that in my search for La Quinta CA Rentals, I found Legacy Villas. It has been a fantastic place to return to time and time again whether for music festivals or a very relaxing weekend away. It is amazing to see people from all over the world enjoying this peaceful place in the desert together and taking in the wonders that Southern California has to offer.
